شب پيش مامي بخوابم!

هر شنبه شب نوبت منه كه پيش مامانيم بخوابم ولي آريانا هم داره بزرگ ميشه و ميخواد بياد وسط ما. نميذاره كه من راحت باشم، مجبوريم گولش بزنيم بزاريم وقتي خوابش برد من در برم بيام پايين.

Almost a year that the girls Blogs have been last updated!!! shame on me. Thanks khaleh Leila for following the posts and reminding me how lazy I am:-). Yasi is in first grade now and learning away. She is a very good reader. She amazes me how good she reads chapter books. She reminds me of the cartoon "vaghti baba koochak bood" . She can read but she does not know what she is reading or what the story is about !!!I am sure that will get better over time. Math is much harder than what they thought me at first grade. Already learning multiplication????but there is no "jadvale zarb" to memorize.The techniques are simpler and more fun and interacting. I wish I went to school here :-((( but it is not about me anymore. LOL . She will turn 7 next month and we decided not to have a B-day Party this year. We are taking a family vacation to Disney World in FL for he Birthday. She will have a special dinner with Mickey and Minnie Mouse and whatever else she likes to do as long as her sister cooperates :-)) Yasi and I went to Iran last July for khaleh Mehrnaz's wedding. I had something else in mind but it turned out that my 6 year old was homesick for the most part :-(( however she still talks about it and all the people she met and going back to Iran this year. Yup right baby!!unless we win the lottery. I am sure there has been more events that I forgot to mention now. Hopefully in the next post

I actually can believe that it has been almost 8 months that I last updated Jasmine'e weblog. A lot had been going on, not all of them fun. Daddy had been sick for the most part and for sure Ariana too. Mom was busy looking for new jobs and dealing with work and everything at home. So accept my apologies and let's move on....

Yasi will be 6 in 3 weeks, this I can't believe. What's new with her? she has lost one tooth already and the second one is about to fall as well. She started ballet 3 months ago and she loves it a lot.She switched daycare from Goddard to Kindercare and actually is in Kindergarten now. I can tell that her math is better than her reading. She is competitive and is trying to make mom proud. She is very excited for Nourooz this year and she has already picked and bought her "lebase eyd". We still need to go shopping for some new fancy shoes. Knock on wood if everything goes smoothly, I should be able to update her Blog and post pictures more frequently.

Yasi will graduate from preschool next Thursday. what a huge achivement!!!! anyway we have to take off from to work to go and watch bunch of 5 year olds singing on a stage for the first time in their lives! I am sure it is fun, we will see. I have seen parents signing up for 4-8 guests for the ceremony! I won't be surprised if they have big luncheons or parties planned for that day also.ha ha. pictures will be posted next week
